"I wouldn't mind being affiliated for near-forever." Pete corrected with a quiet laugh once she'd brought a little more sensibility to his statement. "It's just one of those jobs that's hard to simply quit, I'd think." Even some of the people who'd been at the school and had left had gone into fields assisting in mutant rights or some other form of social involvement. Not everyone needed to use their abilities or fend of bad guys to make a difference, and that was something Pete thought he could aspire to. Finding his own personal niche just hadn't happened yet.
"They're black, and a lot of them are slightly customized depending on your abilities. Nothing.....too attention grabbing." Not that they weren't noticeable, especially in crowds of people where any uniform in general might draw attention. It didn't help that they were obviously not affiliated with the authorities or military, but attention was usually of the "Who are they" variety, and not so much "Dear God, what are they wearing?".
"It's good when it can be a little of both." A shoulder shrugged, and he ate another orange piece, offering her one as well. "I tend to keep my jogging to weekdays too, mostly on days when we don't do any extensive training. Sometimes it's just nice to go out either way. Sometimes I just swim. It really depends." He watched her deal with her new spill, offering a second napkin, wishing he'd thought to bring out a bottle of water. "Well, now you're delicious."
