"In this line of work forever isn't really possible unless you don't age and heal like crazy. Eventually you become backup, you build things or direct things, or find some other way to stay doing what you love, helping people. That's why I do it. I'm not combat oriented but I get to help people and it . maybe it's not genuinely altruistic but it feels good, you know? I missed it, it'll be good to get back into it." She smiled wistfully and glanced off into the distance. "Wait.. what do the the uniforms look like because I am not wearing a gold spandex jumpsuit, or a pair of blue pantyhose and a windbreaker."
"It's okay, I can pretty much already translate just about anything after four years of it in high school, but you know how college credits are. That's really sweet though, thanks Piotr." she smiles warmly at him and then shook her head. "It'll be nice to know someone in at least one of my classes anyway. Have someone to study with too."
Kitty blinked and leaned forward slightly to better hear that low rumbling sound. "You're like a big cat. Guess we'll have to put ears on your hoodie too." she said, but she also had gooseflesh, eh maybe it was cold outside despite the fact that she was wearing her own hoodie. Maybe not though. "Not everything has to be nutritious. Somethings you have to eat for pleasure." she nodded a bit and then opened the back of pretzels, dipping one, pausing and then licking the chocolate and salt from the stick. She didn't really want the pretzel itself just the salted chocolate. "I try to run every morning, except Saturday and Sunday. Those are my sleep late da.." she stopped and sulked as chocolate dripped onto the front of her shirt. A napkin lifted, she licked it and then started to try to wipe the chocolate off of her tank top but it was just leaving a brown spludge.
