"Besides, it will take a lot less time for me to do it than the people that might bring it up otherwise. It's more convenient for everyone, and I'm used to it, really. Lifting and moving bit things is sort of my specialty." Technically it was more like "picking up and throwing", but those were minor details.
He was curious about the particulars involving the "Emma" woman, but easily took the hint that Kitty didn't really seem to want to get into it at the moment. "The pool is nice, but swimming off the island is better, I think." He cleared his throat a little at the "cute boys" comment, the corners of his mouth turning up a little as his face tinted again, recalling the list of people she'd said she'd met so far. "The doctor is Dr. Berkowitz, the unconscious guy is Sam. Though from what I understand he's going to be out and about soon." As an afterthought he added. "You won't have to miss New York pizza either. There's a good place downtown."
