She had had to try the door handle three times before she had managed to get a truly solid grip on it and open the door. She was still having some minor difficulty with her powers when she wasn't concentrating, still a little weak and a little under the weather. The door did open though after a moment, which was probably better than stepping through it. That had been plan B. She ran a hand through her russet hair to smooth it down, wondering just who was knocking. Probably someone looking for someone else, or the doctor checking on her.
She did not expect tall, dark and oh, hey it's the guy from the rally. She gaped at him for a moment, then shook her head, put on a smile and greeted him. "Hey." The follow up of I saw you at the rally sounded lame in her head so she didn't speak it. Instead she managed a simple, "What's up?"
She looked like she didn't really expect to go anywhere. A pair of ratty jeans with holes in the knees, frayed hems at the ankles and a few worn thin spots on the thighs too and a dark green tank top. It was warm enough for inside the school, sure, but to go outside she'd need shoes on those bare feet, and probably her hoodie.
