"What do you think?" Wren said, laughter clearly present within her hazel eyes. Prue knew how to get her way with just about anyone, and this was especially true when it came to Warren and Freddie. They just couldn't say 'no' to her. "I think she has a bit of a crush on you, Warren," she'd let slip, as she picked up one of the candelabras to sneak a peak at the price tag. "But don't let her know that I said that; I'd never hear the end of it." The umbrakine allowed herself a small smirk here, before placing the piece back down. It was a bit out of her price range, at the moment. Not to mention the fact that she really didn't have much of a practical use for candelabras.
"Yes, I'm a regular Emily Gilmore," she joked, though she suspected he wouldn't get the 'obscure' reference. But she knew very well what he was getting at by the jab. "I'm sorry to hear that," about Betsy. "I thought things were going fairly well for you guys." She'd noticed his smile fade and she couldn't help but feel sorry for him. "Do you think it's salvageable?" The relationship, that was. Judging from the conversations she'd had with the blonde supermodel, she seemed genuinely smitten with the Worthington heir. But it had been a while since the two women had had a lengthy chat, so it was possible her feelings could've changed since then.
Aah, and there it was. The subject change. She couldn't say she blamed him, though.
"No. I'm living a suitor-free life at the moment." And to be perfectly honest, she was fine with single life. For now, at least. "Freddie and I 'split' before Christmas." But she'd come to the conclusion that it was for the best - for both of them. "We're were just too different and we didn't seem to want the same things, you know?" He'd told her that he had 'wanted her,' just not in the way she wanted, or needed.
