Sly and Terry Meet
Who: Saint and Siryn
What: Meet and get into Trouble
When: Late Friday Night
Where: The Mansion
It hadn't been long since Terry came back but she felt already at home. She had spent so many years in the school she didn't feel as comfortable and safe as she felt there anywhere else. And she had her family there too; Paige was pretty much a sister to her. She had missed her so much while in Ireland!
Since she was awake at 1AM, she thought of bugging said best friend, but first she needed something to eat. Terry walked out of the room wearing her bra and a pair of very short shorts. Why bother putting on a sweater or a pair or sweatpants? It's not like there would be anyone awake at that time of the night, right?
Sly, of course, wasn't one to keep regular hours. Part of the reason was that he didn't need sleep exactly like other people did (although he would get fatigued) and the other part was his drive to experience new things all the time, even the things people saw as boring. He found the mansion to be a very serene place at night, it was softly lit, calm, quiet, and all that made the ample space feel even more expansive. He was enjoying wondering aimlessly and when he heard footsteps up ahead he became curious. They were soft and barefoot but not silent. If it was another restless student he'd gladly keep them company.
It was hard to bump into a person when this one could hear a coin falling on the floor on the other side of the mansion, but sometimes it happened. Like for instance now, while Terry was too busy humming a song and not paying attention to the footsteps that were coming toward her. She gasped and jumped startled for a second before relaxing again. "Sorry. I didn't hear you coming." She said softly.
When she rounded the corner Sly took a quick step back to avoid a collision. There was a long pause as his brain processed. Not only had he run into a very good looking young redhead but she was also barely dressed and jumping around. She'd give anyone pause, he thought. He flashed her a smile when he had regained his wits. “No problem, I'm light footed.” He offered his hand politely. “I'm Sly. Actually Silas but only Paige really calls me that so far.”
Terry reached for his hand and shook it, raising an eyebrow at the mention of Paige. The boy was definitely cute in a very hot way. It was nice to see her friend hadn't been wasting time. "I'm Theresa, but people call me Terry. Or Freckles, if you're Paige. It's nice to meet you, Sly." She said with a smile.
“Terry it is, and it's nice to meet you too.” He returned her smile easily. “I'm guessing you weren't expecting any hall way company.” He said in mention to her outfit. “I haven't seen anyone else out for the night so, other then myself, you're pretty safe.”
She glanced down at her clothes, or lack of them, and shrugged with a small smirk. "Oh, that's alright. This covers more than my bikini, actually." She chuckled. She had no problem showing her body, as anyone could see.
Well, if she didn't mind then he sure didn't. “I'm sure we're all looking forward to swimming season, then.” He wasn't one for flirty comments, at least not delivered like most people did. He spoke more matter-of-factly, so though it could just be no other way. He was working on more skills like that but flirting he didn't ever seem to practice.
"I surely am." She replied, flirting a little with him. But how could she not flirt with him? He was hot and they were alone in the middle of the hallway, with her half dressed. When would she ever get a chance like that? "I'm heading to the kitchen, wanna come?"
“It does seem to be the place to be.” Sly smiled and nodded, moving to her side. He was only in shorts and a tank top himself but, next to her, he seemed very over dressed. “I haven't seen you around before. I'm new myself but I think I'd remember seeing you at the dance or the spirit week outings.”
As soon as he agreed, she started to head downstairs to the kitchen. "Oh, that's because I was away in Ireland for a bit. Family thing. But I've been here since I was 13. So, a while." She said as she walked. "Where are you from?"
“I'm from Boston. I've only been here a little over a week.” Sly thought that was right, keeping track of time wasn't one of his interests; it interfered with the moment. “You have been here quite a while, I'm guessing.” He said in agreement, noticing she didn't look at all like a thirteen year old girl any more.
Terry nodded. "Four years." She replied. He could figure out her age with that bit of information. "And in that week I see you already met Paige, uh?"
“I've met a few people. Paige and I get along well. She needed someone to help her get out and have fun; so I did.” Sly didn't know if Terry and Paige knew each other well or liked each other so he kept it short and simple. Odds were she probably knew Paige better then he did after just a day of fun so he expected she'd fill in the blanks.
"I'm glad to hear she didn't die of boredom while I was away." She chuckled, smiling at him. "Paige and I are best friends." She explained.
“Then I'm very glad to have run across you.” He responded with a smile. “Paige has been very nice to me so I'm sure she'd keep friends that were nice as well.” He hadn't met anyone mean, really; except rec room girl and maybe the guy that carried Paige off. They were few and far between, though.
"She's an awesome girl." Terry grinned. "You chose well." When they made it to the kitchen, she immediately went to find some chocolate. "You want something?" She asked over her shoulder as she opened a cupboard and stood her tiptoes to reach for a high shelf.
Sly was given no choice but to pause for a moment and he got the feeling Terry knew well what she was doing as she stood on her tip toes in her tiny shorts to reach up high. He cleared his throat a little after a long moment to answer her, “I'll just get some tea; but thank you. Would you like some?”
But of course she knew what she was doing. When she was around a guy, every movement was calculated; though she did it unconsciously. After all those years, flirting was a second nature to her. "No, thanks. I'll just grab a Coke or some juice." She said with a smile.
After a nod and another moment, Sly moved to a cabinet to get the tea and started the kettle on the stove. “Is there anyone else I should keep on the look out for to make friends with?” He liked to know how the relationships were at the mansion; who were close friends, related, and so on.
Terry leaned back against the counter, eating a chocolate chip cookie as she watched him. "I think you're good with us for now."
The water didn't take long to boil and Sly poured himself a cup of tea, raising and lowering the bag as it steeped. “I wouldn't disagree. I'm sure between helping Paige get out and be young and you that I'd have my hands full.” He said jokingly. He didn't have a solid idea of what Terry was like but a picture was beginning to form. He guess she was pretty wild and had been the one getting Paige out before.
"Yes, you will." She said with a mischievous grin. With just one look at her everybody knew she wasn't easy to handle, but that didn't mean he wouldn't have fun while dealing with her... If he played his cards well, that is.
Sly laughed at her response and the foreshadowing it entailed. He took another sip from his tea, watching her. He had the feeling that if she wanted to do anything else tonight that she would tell him and that he wouldn't have much of a choice; also probably wouldn't want one. He wondered if that was her power. He had heard of stranger.
Terry watched him with a small smile as she ate another cookie. Her mind was working on some fun stuff to do with him while in the kitchen, but nothing was good enough. But suddenly, a great idea came to her. "You swim, Sly?"
Sly laughed a bit at the offer, which was a bit of happenstance. “I do; went out just a few days ago but it was pretty cold then, probably even more so now. I bet this mansion has a pool though.” He was rambling just a little but he was excusably nervous. He had a good idea of what was about to be suggested.
She nodded, the up-to-no-good grin reappearing on her features. "And a hot tub... Want to keep me company?"
“I'd be glad to, of course.” Like he could imagine anyone who would say otherwise. Sly put his cup into the dishwasher and moved to Terry's side to follow her.
"Great." She grinned and led the way to the hot tub. What she was wearing wasn't exactly the type of clothes one should wear to go for a swim, but she wasn't going to waste time changing into her bikini.
Sly also wasn't dressed exactly for swimming but since she didn't care he didn't either. Perhaps there were alternatives there? He wasn't particularly shy and if she wasn't either then no problem. He did let her lead just a bit, however. He didn't know the way and her tiny shorts were something to enjoy when possible.
It didn't take them long to get to the pool and hot tub. Biting her bottom lip as she smiled, she turned it on and went to grab some towels for both of them. She placed them next to the hot tub and took off her shorts, revealing the matching hipsters to her bra. "Well, get in." She said with a smile as she moved to get in.
After emptying what little was in his pockets and pulling off his tank top, Sly slid into the hot tub across from Terry. He smiled back to her when she smiled and took a moment to ease himself in. The change from cool to warm made him slow and take his time but it wasn't too long before he was in to his neck.
Terry pulled her hair up in a messy bun so it wouldn't get wet and relaxed in the warm water, closing her eyes. "This is so great."
After a moment to settle in Sly leaned back as well, sitting at a more reasonable height with his arms along the edge of the tub and the water mid-chest. “I'm glad to know this is here.”
"Mhmm... I'll show you more places like this tomorrow." She replied, opening her eyes and looking at him.
He laughed a bit, looking back into her eyes. “I suppose you weren't kidding when you said that I'd have my hands full, then.” He shifted back for a moment and sighed contentedly. “I'll look forward to it.”
Terry laughed softly and shook her head. "Nope... You have no idea what you just got yourself into." She said with a chuckle.
“Do you think it would be more fun to tell me before hand so I could dread appropriately or surprise me?” He laughed softly with her, enjoying the hot tub and the company.
"The surprise is always much better."
“I'll have to work on surprises of my own, then.” Sly smirked teasingly.
She smirked back at him, moving a little toward him. "I was hoping you would."
Sly watched as she moved forward, still smiling and resting back languidly. “I thought you might be the kind for spontaneity and surprises.”
"Am I that obvious?" She asked with a soft chuckle
“You're that honest. Most people act the way they feel they should to attract to them the kinds of people they think they want to be around. Avoiding all of that is a very good thing.” Sly nodded, smiling back to her.
That made Terry smile. "Thanks, I guess."
Sly nodded, “You're welcome.” He smiled to reinforce that his statement was a true compliment. It took a self aware person to simply be who they were and he felt he'd enjoy that about Terry.
"So, Sly, tell me more about yourself. If I'm going to show you all the cool places the school has and surprise you, I need to know something other than the fact that you're from Boston."
“Well, it's not usually light talking points.” Sly gave his best, light smile for what was about to come. “I was found on a bench by Father Patrick and raised in a Jesuit run orphanage until I came here.”
She raised her eyebrows slightly in surprise. "I guess we have something in common. Well, sort of." She replied.
“Oh?” Sly responded to encourage her to tell her story. He settled back to listen, still watching a bit because she had moved closer, but not unpleased.
"I'm an orphan too. My parents died in a bombing and I was raised by my uncle, who's actually my cousin but I always called him Uncle Tom." She explained.
Sly nodded and listened to her story. “I'm sorry to hear about your parents.” He had found that there wasn't anything more appropriate to say to stories such as theirs.
Terry shrugged and smiled. "It's alright. You can't miss what you never had, right?" Although she did miss her parents. She always carried a picture of them with her.
“I miss the idea sometimes, I think. I try not to.” He nodded, watching her and forcing a casual smile back. It felt like their conversation was about to take that turn back to more light-hearted topics.
"Yeah... Me too." She admitted. It felt nice to have someone who understood what she had been through, no having their real parents taking care of them while they grew up. She could talk with Paige about it, but she'd never know exactly what it felt like.
Sly touched her shoulder lightly with his hand, the way people did to make others feel connected and comforted. He knew how lonely not having parents could make a person feel and he didn't want her to have to feel that any more than necessary.
Terry smiled and returned the touch, placing her hand on his arm and squeezing it lightly. "But anyway, other than that, tell me more about you. Favorite color, food, music... anything." She said, not wanting to get in a depressive mood or anything.
With a soft laugh Sly nodded, “Well, I like rock music mostly, and pasta, and my favorite colors blue but I'm becoming partial to red.” He said in a teasingly playful way, giving her a sweet smile.
"Nice." She nodded, approving his taste. "Red is a great color." She smiled playfully.
“What about you?” He kept his smile, looking to her eyes as they sat in the hot tub.
"Well, I'm originally from Ireland. I like all kinds of music, from Aerosmith to Miley Cyrus. Seriously." She laughed. "My favorite color is dark red and my favorite food is strawberry cheesecake and chocolate, of course." She finished with a smile.
Sly laughed at Terry's own laugh. “I think we share a similar taste in music.” He said playfully, still looking at her, breathing a bit more deeply because of the warm water.
"Another thing we have in common, then. If you tell me you like Star Wars I might have to marry you right now." She said jokingly.
“Who doesn't like Star Wars?” He laughed playfully. “No one I care to know, anyway.” He winked teasingly.
Terry grinned playfully. "I think I just found the perfect man."
“You're quite the catch yourself.” He responded sweetly.
"Thank you." She said with a wink, her cheeks flushing lightly - though she blamed it to the hot tub.
It had been quite some time since Terry had moved a bit closer. She had stopped and didn't seem to be considering another move so Sly decided it was his turn. He scooted closer to her, a bit deeper into the water, leaning back and take pressure off his shoulders.
Terry noticed he moved closer to her and only a moment later she closed the distance between them a little more. She stretched a little in the water and smiled at him, biting her lower lip.
He found the lower lip biting to be very alluring. “Tired?” He said in response to her stretching. He didn't want her to go but he wasn't sure how something like this worked. He had flirted a little bit but never really had the opportunity to even seriously consider dating.
She shook her head. "Not even a little... Just trying to relax more, though it's not difficult here." She chuckled softly.
He grinned to her, “Well, don't let me interrupt any relaxing.” He was leaned back quite a bit himself, almost looking up to her, his arms still propped up across the back of the hot tub.
"You know what would be perfect now? A massage."
“If you'd like I'd be happy to help.” Sly sat up a bit and spread his legs so she could sit in front of him. He knew she'd accept the offer.
Smiling, she wasted no time and moved to sit between his legs.
His hands moved to her back immediately, starting up at her shoulders, avoid her bra where necessary as he started to massage deeply with his thumbs.
Terry closed her eyes and relaxed under his touch. He really was the perfect man. Or at least one that gave some really good massages. "You're really good with your hands, you know?"
“Thank you. I'm glad you like them.” He said softly and sweetly into her ear. Sly enjoyed giving her a massage, his fingers thin but long. He had to be careful sometimes so that his fingers didn't reach around too far as he massaged her shoulder blades and high on her neck.
A shiver ran up and down her spine when he whispered in her ear. She bit her lip again, unable to stop the smile that was curling up the corners of her mouth, and she let out a happy sigh.
He saw her smile but said nothing, just continued to rub her back, up and down. He avoided any area covered by under wear. Anything that wasn't he massaged, however.
Terry noticed how he avoided touching the skin covered by her bra, and thought it was quite cute and sweet. Some boys would've told her to take it off for a better massage, but he was so respectful. It was really nice. She was so comfortable and relaxed a soft moan escaped her lips without meaning to.
Sly rubbed just a bit harder at the moan. He scooted back just a little as she sat between his legs, still massaging her muscles deeply and enjoying the moans and hope pleased she was by what he was doing.
She moaned again, this time fully aware of it. But how could she not moan when he was doing those things with his hands?
Her moans only encouraged him. He rubbed deeper, working his way down to the small of her back, just above the waistband of her underwear. He watched her as he massaged, enjoying her red hair and the freckles that dusted all of her soft skin.
"I'm going to have to kidnap you so you can give me massages every night before I go to bed." She said softly, in a teasing tone. She was feeling really relaxed, but that the same time his hands on her skin aroused other feelings in her.
“I don't think you'd have to kidnap me. Maybe just ask really nicely and make sure your room mate didn't mind.” He teased back, still speaking softly and near her ear since he was still massaging. He rotated between using his thumbs, palms, and fingertips so that he didn't wear any one thing out.
"Who cares about the roommate." She chuckled. "Would you give me massages every night before going to bed, Sly?" She asked with a playful smile on her face, looking at him over her shoulder.
“Of course. You'd just have to ask really nicely.” He stuck to his earlier statement, despite looking into her beautiful green eyes as she looked over her shoulder in that sexy way.
"How nicely exactly?" She asked with a smirk.
He laughed softly, “I'm sure how you ask will be nice and sweet and I'll be compelled to say yes.”
She didn't know about how nice and sweet it'd be -- more like sexy and irresistible --, but he'd definitely be compelled to say yes. She turned around and leaned closer to him, looking into his eyes. "Sly, would you come to my room and give me a massage every night before going to bed please?"
Sly smirked at how she leaned in and asked him. Most men would say yes because they'd be touching all over Terry and believe it would lead to sex. He didn't have an opposition to any of that but he was more interested in simply spending time with her. “Of course.” He replied, softly and sweetly.
She smiled widely and pressed a small kiss on his cheek. "Thank you."
“I'm sure it will be my pleasure.” He smiled more at the kiss and couldn't possibly surpress a little blush.
"I'm sure it will." She said with chuckle and a wink.
He laughed as well, returning her wink playfully, resting his hands low on her sides as she faced him, leaned in close and between his legs.
Terry shifted a little closer to him, never taking her eyes off his.
Sly kept looking back into her eyes, not moving back or closer, he watched curiously and let her do what she had planned.
He wasn't moving, that could be either good or bad. But since he was still looking at her and he didn't seem uncomfortable or anything, she decided it was good. She leaned in closer and pressed her lips against his in a soft kiss. She wasn't sure why she had done it, but she knew she wanted to do it. Now all that was left to know was if he liked it and didn't pull away.
Her kiss received one from him. He pressed his lips lightly to hers, squeezing her hips softly as she leaned up to him. He nuzzled in a bit sweetly as they kissed, his eyes closed as he enjoyed.
Terry was gladly surprised to find he was kissing her back. She placed one hand on his cheek, pulling him closer as she continued kissing him.
He leaned in as she guided him, matching her in intensity as they kissed. He pulled her a bit closer by the hips, not thinking of much more than wanting more of this.
The kiss felt incredibly good, and she didn't want it to stop. But unfortunately, breathing was something necessary to stay alive. When she pulled away from a moment to catch her breath, she chuckled softly. "You should know that I don't do this all the time, kissing boys I ran into in the middle of the night."
“Neither do I. You're one of the very few I've kissed, ever.” Sly smiled to her reassuringly. He felt they had a connection of some sort too. He couldn't very well look down on her for doing exactly what he was doing with her. He was more aware than that.
That made her smile sweetly at him, and she caressed the side of his face gently before kissing him again. She had felt that connection too, otherwise she wouldn't be there kissing him. She might be a huge flirt, but she didn't kiss on the first date - though she wasn't sure running into each other and ending up in the hot tub could be consider a first date.
The caress made him smile more and he even kissed her hand softly before her moved back to her lips. His hands began caressing her sides instead of just squeezing her hips. He enjoyed having her close, though he kept his hips back with how close she was.
She smiled against the kiss at the feeling of his hands caressing her sides. but as much as she loved the feeling, if they kept kissing she might want to do something she could regret later. It just wasn't the right time nor the right place. "We should stop." She said between kisses. "And go on a date tomorrow or something."
Sly smiled and nodded gladly in agreement. “I'd love to take you out tomorrow. Maybe a nice meal and a movie in the city?” He'd like to have an excuse for them to dress up and go have a nice time talking and maybe cuddling.
"That'd be perfect." She agreed with a smile and a small sweet kiss on his lips.
