He laughed and blushed a little. "TV..." He said with a laugh. If he learned everything from TV no wonder he was so messed up. He was doing all the wrong things in conjunction. He held his glass out in front of him and waited for a bump, and when one came he sloshed what was in the glass into his mouth. "See that. Damn bumps wasting good chartreuse."
Ric tossed his head back and gave a deep laugh at seeing t his, closing his eyes as he pressed a hand to his stomach. "OH Gavin, you're a card." He grinned and gave him just a little more champagne. He quickly swallowed down what was left in his glass and then refilled the glass with what remained. "there... all out. So drink that slowly, it's your last!"
He was disappointed in this, but he didn't make it last instead he gulped it down, just like the time before. He had about 2 glasses, which would get him toasty. His cheeks turned a light light pink, and he felt good. He was sad it was gone. He rather liked the taste. He took the glass and used the melted ice to wash it out and hung it back on the hanging rack. It looked clean anyway. That is all it had to do really.
Ric drank his more slowly, smiling as he soon finished his drink and cleaned out his own glass, looking over at the pink-faced boy. "You look like a Christmas tree," he chuckled at how rosy he was. "You're such a light-weight," he teased, that affection still in his voice. "You should sleep pretty darn well tonight." He added thoughtfully, giving a slow yawn himself. He would still have to find something to occupy the later part of his night-owl evening with.
Gavin smiled rather lazily. He wanted to say things. Wanted to do things. He sat on one side and Ric sat on the other. If he got any closer, it could be dangerous. He sprawled out on his seat. Proactive action. He had done the right thing. Besides, Ric was straight anyway. Truly Gavin really hadn't had anything going on. Ever. He was an untouched person, and a virgin. Poor thing.
"Tired?" he chuckled, looking around for a pillow or blanket or something to offer the kid. "That sure went straight to your head.." he murmured, totally unaware of the boy's super fast system. Deciding it would help things, Ric moved to sit on Gavin's seat, looking down at that sprawled form. "Well I hope you're gonna remember today," Ric offered with a grin. He was clueless. Yes he flirted with anything with a pulse, but he was quite clueless as to when people actually had a thing for him.
Ric was torturing him. He rolled over onto his back to look up and there was Ric. Close to him. He was buzzing good, and that wasn't necessarily a good thing. His body wanted to do one thing, his mind another, and then to compound matter, his heart wanted something else. It wasn't fair. It wasn't fair that his eyes sparkled. It wasn't fair that his lips were pretty and it wasn't fair that his hair fell the way that it did. It wasn't fail.
"Heh... yeah alcohol can get to ya," Ric chuckled, reaching to pat Gavin's shoulder. Yes, he was entirely clueless. "you'll sober up shortly... let me see if I can find some water..." he said, looking around and soon finding a water bottle, offering it to the younger. "What if I told ya you have one more surprise today?"
"I wouldn't believe you." He said with a silly grin. Oh the things that were swimming through his head. The things that he alone wanted to do. Things he didn't know how to do that he would have to learn. Things he wanted to say. So many wants, and yet, none of them seemed realistically in his grasp. He stared deeper. He had got lost in his eyes. So lost that he stopped paying attention, and didn't hear whatever he was about to say.
