The rains were colder here, that was true. She missed the rains in the forest, where it was warm and sometimes so fast the clouds hardly had a moment to cover the sun. There was something about the rain now that would inflict a bit of fear. How they seemed to be parallels or twins in spirit, Yindi had to believe that the bayou was much in the same like the rainforests. But from what Remy had told her, the bayou and Louisiana were a bit swampy, a little too much water for the Australian's liking. Ah, her thoughts were a bit scattered tonight and everything came back when her friend suggested a piggy-back ride.
"Yes, please!" That certainly made the prospect of heading back down to the ward feel less like a punishment. Yindi pushed herself to get up off of her bed and pick about the things that were on her nightstand, CDs and the discman, to take with them as was the purpose of coming up here in the first place. When she looked down at herself, finding that the pockets in the pajamas and robe were awfully shallow, Yindi looked back over to Remy with a smirk. He had all of those pockets in that coat; he could fit these somewhere. Without hesitation, once he had righted himself from her bed, Yindi took a moment to pat the outside pockets to ensure that she would not crush his smokes (even if she secretly wanted to) nor any nibbles saved for later.
Once he was loaded up, Yindi genuinely grinned and turned off the little light at her nightstand. The room was cast in shadow, save the dim glow of the hallway lights always left on at night and the hit of light from the window. To make it easier for Remy, Yindi climbed onto her bed and, giggling as she did so, climbed onto his back. It was an odd sort of feeling as she wrapped her legs about his waist and her arms over his shoulders; no one could possibly feel so lumpy! Her face popped up over his left and she rested her chin on the top of her arm, putting her mouth quite close to his ear. "Giddy'up, horsey," she teased.
