“Oui petite, dat was a magic kiss,” he grinned impishly at her, couldn’t help himself. His nose wrinkling up slightly with the thought of plucking, but in a playful way. Wasn’t too sure if plucking anyone was a good thing or not, but still it did make a laugh come flowing easily from his lips, way too easily mostly because he’d got himself all hooked up on what and how one could pluck another. Be if flowers growing out of Yindi, or fingers doing such on another, well maybe he didn’t need to think too much about the finger stuff. Yindi’s comments about the weather had Remy’s eyes following hers. Another night where the rain would hammer down and another night that he didn’t know whether he’d be better off going to find a nice sewer to skulk in rather than hanging around in the trees.
Yes he knew Mark would not really mind him going into the room, but Remy sort of saw that as an invasion into the other boy’s life. He’d had the room for a really long time, had it and made it his and Remy, well he really had no interest in rooms, having one, or sleeping in beds. Especially when you would have to sleep in one by yourself. No, he didn’t like that idea at all, and had never slept in a bed by himself and didn’t really look forward to attempting to try and do so either. All in all, it was not the most pleasant of thoughts. Beds equated a whole lot of bad things in Remy’s normally less than focused brain, but he soon snapped back into the conversation at hand and left thoughts of beds, bed monsters, beds being cold lonely places … and drifted into what Yindi was saying.
“Da rain, it never be too far away, me I don’ t’ink I like bein’ dis far north, rat’er be back on ‘ome in da bayou.” He stated, but really? No, Louisiana may well have the weather, but it didn’t have a few big important things. Yindi and Marie. A wider grin on his lips, “oui Remy kin be walkin’ ya down dere, bu’ wouldn’t ya’ rat’er be ridin’ on down piggy back style?” He laughed out, and why not? No one was going to care all that much, near on everyone would be in their rooms, doing whatever they did in them anyway to wonder about who was running down the hallway making ‘whoosssssh’ like noises, well not necessary whoosh noises but that was what was running through his head at that particular moment and maybe banging on a few doors as they ran past.
