“Remy t’ink y’need to make dat a pinkie promise petite,” he grinned in response to her words, as his red eyes followed her finger though were probably more attuned to the flower upon its tip. Mind you a playful pout was forming on his lips, and out came, “Remy never did steal dat bike y’know, me I was only borrowin’ it fo’a bit.” As far as blowing up the bar was concerned, well she had him on that one. Yes no amount of excuses could really make that seem like anything other than it was, but he did say, “anyways dem ol’ men in dat bar was rude, me I t’ink ‘avin’ dere bar blow up probably be teachin’ dem a lesson, no’ to be rude to strangers.” It was said with a modicum of seriousness well until he bubbled out into a deep melodic laugh after he’d finished talking.
Since being here, and having a lot of contact with both Logan and Kurt, Remy’s issues as far as other men were concerned was flexing a little. He did on some level trust those two, but only those two and out of a life that … so okay hadn’t spanned that great amount of time, but had been quite expansive as far as living went, it was kind of pitiful that only two males had ever seemed to get close to such a thing. He’d had friends of a sort, but he’d seen most of them get killed, he even in some cases was probably responsible for some of their deaths, though Remy never looked too deeply into things and that way he didn’t need to accept that some of the pranks he got up too, left dire results for others that he touched upon in one way or another.
“Talkin’ of stealing bikes …” he grinned out when the laughter had died down, “me I was t’inkin’ dat we all should borrow anot’er one an’ go into da city. I ‘eard dat dere be a big old sale goin’ on in some of dem fancy shops and someone dat ain’t sittin’ so very far away be needin’ anot’er new dress fo’ da up comin’ dance non?” Which yes he knew Yindi did not have lots of money to go wasting on an expensive formal dress, but he also knew that if he went with her, well the dress whatever it maybe, was not going to actually cost either of them a penny and yes he was that confident in his ability to do so. Though of course he’d have to make sure he did it in such a way that Yindi never realized that they were wandering out of wherever she bought it, without paying for it. Yindi would probably see it as stealing, where as Remy of course didn’t.
“Y’gonna need new shoes too, probably real ‘igh ones wit’ da pointy ‘eels.” He teased out, “like da ones you tried on las’ time but fell over wearin’.” Not that Yindi had fallen over when she went looking for her last outfit, but she had said she had felt as if she would.
