Burnum would always be with her, just as if and when the day came that Remy and Yindi would have to part ways for a time, he would be with her, too. But there comes a point when you have not seen a person in a long time that, even though you know they think about you as much as you think about them, it still hurts that they are not there. Burnum had a presence much like Remy's that could both calm her and excite her. It was why Yindi was relaxed with Remy and the pair could still find a batch of trouble.
They were both quite interested in the budding flower and seeing him grin made her smile a little brighter. It was still very strange for her to watch such a thing occur, as this was the first time that a flower had blossomed out of her skin in a calm way. She would have to write this down in the little journal she was asked to keep in order to better understand how her new ability would work in accordance with her emotions. She was sad, but happy that she had Remy; the loneliness was melting away with him here.
Just as Remy had little male influence or realtionships with in his life, the majority of relationships she had in her life were with males. She found it very easy to trust males, which was both good and bad. Sometimes, a sweet girl like Yindi had to watch just what sort of guys she befriended because not all of them had good intentions. But she knew that Remy would never be the sort to take advantage of her trust and as the little flower proved when it blossomed all its own, their friendship was as true as one could be. 'Friends' was even a bit of a weak word. The two were more like twins, seperated by a bit of time and a lot of space, yet were linked and spoke in a language that they only ever seemed to be able to understand (especially when intoxicated).
Yindi lifted her hand and gently brushed the blossom under his chin and then up over his creased forhead. Its gentle scent lingered in the air, being that close. "I'm glad yeu think so, too." Devotion was a good word for them and it made her incredibly happy. She did not know how they came to be this close so fast but Yindi was thankful that they did. "I missed yeu a lot more than I thought I did. Nevar really had a friend like you before, either. Burnum nevar wanted to steal bikes, blow up bars and get wildly drunk with me before." A flash of a grin, probably the best one she had given up since she was caught in that storm.
"I promise I won't leave yeu wonderin' where I've gone off to evar again."
