Remy, may seem the most oblivious person in the world at times, completely unaware of anyone else’s feelings, wants or emotional needs. Only it was all an act, a good one that worked well on some occasions, but he tended to read people well, had to because of how he’d survived. If you worked people out, you knew how to avoid having them hurt or harm you too much, knew how to get them to lay off with the more vicious of assaults. So the moment she came moving towards him, his arms were parting, opening and sliding around her. Holding her just tight enough, not too tight, and not too slack. Enough pressure to let her know whatever was going on, whatever she had locked away inside of her, he was there, he was not going anywhere and she could tell him whatever she wanted, or indeed nothing at all and his arms, and he would always be there, just for her, for as long as she wanted him there.
“No’ even a lil bi’ huh?” He grinned out and lowered his head, placing a friendly kiss lightly on the top of her sandy blonde head, knowing there was something far more serious about to break through from her mouth, due to the way she slightly tensed before she spoke once more.
“Oui?” Came out softly from his lips. “Guessin’ yo’ no’ so ‘appy abou’ it jus’ yet non?” Didn’t ask her directly what had happened, because if she wanted to tell him she would, and if she didn’t then she’d tell him when she felt she either wanted too or needed too. Remy was not big on talking about his own mutation, and therefore unlike a lot of other folk, was not particularly inquisitive about other peoples ‘gifts’ because that was pretty much how he saw them. Only part of his mutation he really was not all that enamoured with was his eyes, and as he did not know that he was able to blow living people to tiny bits and pieces yet, well he was not truly worried about such either.
