Dark hair fell over her face as she worked in the greenhouse, her eyes focused on it. Memories from a brief time before she'd come here had been assaulting her. Memories of someone who was rarely nice and from what the files said, he was Wolverine's enemy. Her eyes focused on the plants in front of her though, her eyes softening ever so slightly. Victor Creed, also known as Sabretooth, had been anything but cruel to her. Shaking her head, she tossed those memories again and regretted the moment that she shook her head. She felt a little dizzy, setting one hand against the ground and the other against her head.
"What is going on?" She murmured. She might have to talk to the professor or whomever was availiable and talk to them to see if someone was spraying weedkiller around her greenhouse. Or even if there was something in the twenty mile radius that was being worked on and things were being stomped down while the trees and plants were cut and burnt. But she hadn't smelt smoke on the wind, so she just sat there near her plants and took a deep breath.
She sat back up and went back to her work, ignoring the fact that she wasn't feeling very well. It had to be something in the air or something around the plants, she just wasn't sure what it was. Or at least, something around the greenhouse. Maybe some kid had decided it'd be funny to play a prank on the botany teacher and had poured bleach around the greenhouse. But who would have done it? That was the real question, she'd never harmed anyone and she never planned to.
Shifting the way she was sat, she moved over to the venus fly traps that she had set up in there, gently stroking their stems. They were such beautiful little ones, violent in their own right, but it showed that the plant kingdom had it's teeth. Smiling again, she stood up to move over to the other plants. She paused and picked up the wildflower seed she had got from a local store. Moving over to an empty patch in the greenhouse, she settled down and started to plant them. Her slender hands, now covered in dirt, gently settled themselves against the ground after she had spread the seed out and watched the earth take back it's own. Her hands sunk a little ways into it and those usually violet-blue eyes turned green, glowing steadily until the plants had grown.
Settling herself against the leg of the table nearby, she shut her eyes and took a deep breath.
