"Sounds fair ta' me." Jay approached the trashcan and pulled the apple core from where it had stuck. The lip of the can had sliced into the remainder of the fruit like a knife wedged in a stick of butter. He gave another soft chuckle and dropped the core into the can properly. In typical teenage boy fashion, he wiped any remaining apple residue off on his jeans and headed back to join Kitty. "Y'all jes' gots to get us to some place that sells that magic doughnut of yers. I'll even get'cha two."
Jay reclaimed his perch, sitting on the edge of the countertop once more. "I'm easy to please. Jes' ham an' American if there's both of those." The heels of his shoes tapped against the lower cabinets idly as she pulled down a plate. "So y'all walk through walls?" Jay wasn't as bashful about inquiring about powers. He wore his on his back, they were usually the conversation starter but he could work the other way around. "That's pretty cool. Any type of wall? Don't matter how thick or what it's made of or nuthin?"
