Four o'clock was the best part of the day, Monday through Friday. Classes were done and for the rest of the evening, he was free. He didn't even have the saving grace of piano classes on a Monday. No outlet, just books, tests, papers and wishing he was anywhere else.
With an English textbook tucked under his arm as well as a beat up marble notebook (which had more lyrics and musical notes within it than studious ones), Joshua was heading back up to the dorms. He had no intention of stopping at the rec room. After the encounter with St. John, he still was feeling a little uncomfortable with returning to the scene of the scuffle. But the reddish glow spilling out into the hallway seemed all too familiar. Had Pyro reignited one of Yindi's plants.. or something worse?
His casual walking stride turned into a panicked run as he dashed towards the rec room entrance. Gripping the doorframe as he made the turn to stand within the entryway, his eyes darted about only to find.. a lamp? Quizzically his brow arched upward.
