WHO: Jean and Fenyx; OPEN
WHAT: TBD.
WHEN: Friday, August 1st (Mid-Afternoon)
WHERE: Jean's office in the sub-basement.
NOTES Forward dated slightly. Lol.
The smell of generic sanitizer would probably be the first smell one would be greeted by as they'd enter Dr. Grey's office (which was adjacent to the infirmary). Then, it'd probably followed by all of the other fun odors that one would associate with a hospital.
After spending so many years working in this sort of environment, Jean had built a strong resistance to them and was generally not bothered by all of the strange smells. That would probably be considered a good thing, as she was a medical doctor and she had spent most of her time down there.
As she settled back in her office chair for the moment, Jean allowed her mind to wander. One of the things that were weighing heavily upon her was Magneto's surprise visit to then Institute the previous day. It wasn't like she had been completely taken by surprise, as Erik Lehnsherr had never been denied access to the school before. He had been one of the founders, after all. Not to mention the fact that he had once been a very good friend of Professor Charles Xavier and she (as well as a good few of older residents) had thought of him as one of her mentors.
Even so, it had been strange to see him on the school grounds again after so many years. It had also stirred up a lot of dormant emotions within her that she thought were dead and buried.
Part of her wished for this conflict between the two factions (the X-Men and the Brotherhood) could be resolved and that they could go back to how things were. And then there was a part of her that knew it was foolish to think that that would ever happen.
She really hoped that she was wrong, however.
