Though Rogue wasn't anywhere near as competitive or into sports as Kitty something about the tug of war appealed to her. Maybe it was because, even though there were certain restrictions, she could still take part. But, even though she was excited, she could understand why Yindi wasn't joining in. It wasn't everyone's cup of tea and on one of Rogue's more girly days she might not have been too keen on the idea.
Every time someone mentioned the dance Rogue's face didn't fail to light up with excitement. She could barely believe that the day had almost arrived where she'd dance with her mystery man in front of everyone and make whatever they had real, that it wasn't just a dream, as nice as the dream was.
