"I try not to ask him too many questions." She faked a deadly serious expression for a moment before breaking out into a smile. It was true; she didn't ask Logan as many questions as she had when she was first getting to know him. But she was a lot more grown up than she had been then, she liked to think. Plus she had a lot more respect for people's privacy. She had her own secrets; she'd let them have theirs too. She just appreciated having the chance to spend time with Logan now and again; she didn't need to know absolutely everything about him to consider him a friend.
Rogue glanced down at her almost dry clothes as he posted his question. "I might be a bit of a dead weight but I have confidence you'll manage." She'd discovered a long time ago that flattery was a good route to go down with boys. Especially with mutants who had powers to flatter; though mutants were born with powers and the only truly impressive thing they could do that took work was to learn to control them, many were still fiercely proud of their abilities.
