Julian's smile faltered a little at Rogue's reaction. This is not good, he thought to himself, only now his brain catching up enough to suggest why this might not have been the best choice of actions. He was glad for Kitty's help as he stood there and let the wet scarf smack him in the face. Dunking under water, he came back up with it floating next to him, taking it in one hand.
Julian nodded at Kitty's words, affirming them. Then he tried laying on his own charm. "She thought you'd like it, a little at least. You're bundled up like it's Christmas!" Julian wasn't sure why this was, so figured it was fair game for teasing. "And this is a pool party after all."
Julian got a good idea and turned around in the pool. "Hey! Any of you kids know how to move water or something? Blow air? Wring out clothes?" He wasn't quite sure what that kind of power would be, but he figured there was some of everything at this place.
Turning back to Rogue he tried his brightest smile on her. "Or anyway now you have an excuse to swim. It's not like you're not wet."
