Yo, peeps! This is Kaye, your mod again, with my 4th character! I'm sure all of you have seen her on the cast page already loaded for a while now, but I just hadn't finished her bio, so I didn't feel right officially throwing her into the game yet. Anyway, onto introducing her...
This is Kimi. She is one of the Masters of Evil, and, well... Look at her. Can't you tell that she's pure evil? Haha, well, she is. She's a freelance assassin, so good that even the government endorses her. Pretty nuts, huh? Well, she doesn't do it by fighting, as she's really not the fighting type. She prefers to weasel her way into a person's life and then strike. That way she doesn't really have to get her hands dirty, at least not too bad. She killed her baby brother when that was 4 (on accident!), and that might have been what set her on a downward spiral to becoming... well... this. She is known as the villainous Rattler, and she doesn't actually have a costume, so if you know her, you know her. The problem is that she's so good at being a chameleon without a costume that most people don't realize that she's the same person half the time.
OH. And if anybody is curious? She's the female version of Scrambler, one of the Marauder members.
Anyway, just because she's evil doesn't mean she can't scene with people, so I'm up for plottage of all kinds with this girl! As always, I can be found at JabberwockyHakke on AIM!

Hey, people!
How is everybody enjoying the game so far? Good, I hope! If not, pleeease tell me what I can do to make it better! I will do anything, seriously! Haha, well, just about anything. Either way, just let me know how it's going!
Activity checks are coming up here shortly. I wanted to give everybody time to settle in and get a feel for the game, but now the real deal is going to start! The day for activity checks will be Saturday (I know the rules say Sunday, but I have a huuuuge paper due Sunday, so I'm pretty sure I won't have time to do it Sunday). If you're character's name is on the list, then you'll also receive an email about, and then you'll have until Tuesday to post something! It's really not that hard.
Wanna thread? Just let me know!
Characters that will be younger than 2 weeks old on Saturday are exempt from this removal!
Also, I think it's time for some plottage, don't you? I want to hear what all of you think, though! Tell me what plot ideas that you have! I would love to be able to throw something up next Monday, so let's get to talking! You can comment here and plot amongst each other, or - if you want to be all secretfied, you can drop some things in the drop box, and I'll definitely see what I can do with it!
Small plots. Big plots. Just game-wide plots. Let me have them!
This includes things that would require articles only, group threads, a narrative that you guys then reply to, you guys doing something that then gets an article written about it... Anything!

Hi there! I'm Elise and I'll be bringing Miss Henrietta McCoy (aka fem!Beast) to you for your role-playing pleasure. She's not Dr. McCoy quite YET, but she is working on getting her PhD, so bring on the Star Trek references as it pleases you.
Anyhoo, Miss Thing goes by 'Etta' to friends and enemies alike, since she is fully aware that Henrietta is an old lady name and she's still young and peppy. Once upon a time she was a student at Xavier's herself, but vamoosed some years ago to get her Master's and explore the big wide world outside of the mansion. Turns out, the big wide world SUCKS and she returned to the hallowed halls of this sacred institution to teach. She is VERY friendly and extremely sweet-natured, loves to talk, so don't be shy about interacting with her, she's NEVER shy.
Unlike her comic book counterpart, she doesn't spend ALL her time puttering around the lab forgetting to eat (or turning herself into Cookie Monster's feline cousin). She has a boyfriend! ::insert bells and whistles:: And there's no television in the lab, so she has to emerge sometimes to watch ANTM, Project Runway and, of course, Big Bang Theory, the greatest sitcom known to man.

Yo peoples! Tis Jay again, though I know you're sick of hearing from me. Firstly, I got my laptop back! Secondly...I have a fourth character to introduce because I'm sure I never introduced her.
This here is little miss Wendy Worthington. She is the female version of Warren Worthington III otherwise known as Angel. She's an Xavier's student, so she's a youngin!
Wendy is the daughter of a rich couple who is anti-mutant, so when it became apparent that their daughter was a mutant, there was no having that. She lost her daddy's approval and her mother's love all in one fell swoop, and that was how she ended up at Xavier's. Since then she's become less shy and more extroverted and friendly.
Um...so yeah. You can check out her full info in her journal, though I warn that the section about her trying to keep her growing wings from her dad may prompt tears. It did for me, anyway.
I'm up for plottage so you all know what to do!

Okay...so...my laptop is being tuned up and installed with Windows 7. And I just called the guy today, and he said my computer wouldn't be done until Monday. I'm going to die...seriously.
Until Monday, the only net access I'll have is my phone and perhaps the library if I can get out. So, you might not be hearing very much from me until I get my laptop back, considering my phone doesn't let me do as much as my laptop does.

Hola again! This would be Jay again with her third (but not her last). I bring you Junta Lee, who will (eventually) be known as Sparx! He's the male version of Jubilee, lol
Junta's a real fun-loving kind of dude who likes to go with the flow and just have fun. He's kinda punk rock and quite...colorful. And covered in tattoos, lol. More fun facts? Junta is bisexual, so bring it all on when it comes to love. Or lust. Whatevs, lol.

Hello!
I'm Nyx and I'm bringing in two, yes two, pups for the price of one OOC post. First up we have Alex Summers. Little sister to the uptight lady with the ginormous assets. She's a quirky, somewhat emotional lady who fires plasma blasts from her body. You know you want to spend you Saturday night with her.
On the other side of the yin-yang we have Domino. No name, no age, no place of birth (he claims to have fallen directly from Heaven when asked). I am a mid-twenties future-Illuminatus with four rats, one holly bush, and one husband. I talk about the rats and male more than the holly bush, but I'm damn proud of the fact that it hasn't died yet. Hello all yet again! This is the last character for a while, I swear! It's Hailey, that's probably an important part. Of course my info is already out there, bladdity blah.
The important stuff! This is Johanna Storm. She goes by Jo, Johnnie, and pretty much anything else that is flattering to her! She's currently an Avenger. Johanna got her powers through going to space and a cosmic cloud rolling through. Of course she's pyrokinetic, she can control fire within hr sight line; she does the whole flame on thing and covers herself with plasma aka flame; and another good one she can fly. She's got pretty good control despite how damn reckless she is. She is very reckless most of the time. She means well most of the time. She's impulsive, impetuous, blunt, and a whole slew of other things. Of course she's a bit of a party girl too. She definitely isn't shy in the spotlight and loves attention too.
I'd love to work out lines of any and every kind for her, so please pester me. ^_^

Hello lovely people! I normally go by Jay in the RP world, but since we might have another one of those coming in, you all can call me JJ! Or "Hey you with the face." I'm cool with either :)
Anyway, as anyone who knows me well can tell you, I am a roleplay fiend. I currently have two kiddies in game and there are more on the way, lol. So, for my kids...
Rafael Darkholme a.k.a. Mystic falsefaced is a member of the Fellowship of Mutants and he's every bit as bad as his female incarnation. He's a professional criminal, borrowing faces and personas whenever he feels like it so he can do what he pleases. His partner is Destiny (who I'd love to see in game!) and his foster son is Scamp. You can read up on him here.
Then I have Pietra Maximoff a.k.a. Quicksilver _silverspeed. She is also a member of the Fellowship, but a relatively new one. She's completely unaware that she is the daughter of Erelah Lensherr, so I'm hoping that that'll make for some fun plot in the future. As you know, she's a twin, and her brother is also a member of the Fellowship. Pietra is kind of the quiet stoic type unless she feels comfortable with a person. You can see more of her here.

Hey, guys! As I promised, here I am with my character introduction! Sorry it took me so long to get to it! My name is Kaye, for those of you who I don't know. I am your mod, and you can catch me at JabberwockyHakke on AIM at almost any time that you see me online. I am 20, an online college student, and I am seeking a job, but the prospects aren't very hopeful.
Anywho...
This is Teddy. She is a wannabe Avenger is a part of the team on a probationary membership, because as far as Toni Stark (and maybe some of the other Avengers) are concerned, Teddy is just a bright-eyed college girl looking for a thrill. And some of that might be true to an extent, but Teddy really does like helping people. Her canon version is Hulkling from Young Avengers. This means that she is part Kree and part Skrull (aka, she's an ALIEN), but she does not know this yet as she was raised human and believes herself to be human. She was raised by her mother's servant, who she grew up believing is actually her mother. Because she's had a healing factor since she was pretty much born, she's never been to the doctor to find out the truth and the Avengers are also completely unaware of her true origins as she's never had to visit the infirmary for that fact. She's got super strength, is a metamorph (aka Skrull), and she's a lesbian. She's really an awesome girl.
My next character is Scamp lowlife_rogue. Scamp is part of the Fellowship of Mutants, as is his foster father Mystic. His canon form is Rogue, and like Rogue, he cannot touch anybody. Unlike Rogue, though, he has a huge problem dealing with this. Some might call him a bit of a drunk, and they'd be underestimating how much he drinks. He has frequent nightmares associated with personalities that he has taken in, and so he's a bit of an insomniac as well. Much like his foster father, Scamp's true personality may be lost forever. Now, though, he's a mutant right's terrorist, and he can either turn on the charm for you or be a total jerk who ignores you. Or he can reply in all riddles and sarcastic remarks just to annoy you. It's all possible with him.
My final character is Matty notafairy. Matty's canon form is Pixie, but in this universe, he's going to go by Dragonfly. He is a student at Xavier's Institute, and he is also the son of Mastermind. He is a very innocent kid who grew up in Wales and England before coming over to Xavier's Institute. He is just a pretty adorable kid who doesn't know his full potential quite yet. He has latent magic within him, but he hasn't tapped into it yet. He can fly!
And that's it! Let's get this show on the rooooad!

Hey, people!
The game is officially open. That's right! It's so exciting! Go throw up threads, update journals, and just genuinely have fun. I am slowly working my way up to having a character in every faction for a very important reason...
I want to make sure that all of you have interaction!! So, if you're ever feeling left out or like you're not sure what to do with your characters, just IM me and we'll thread together! I will thread with anyone. In a second, I will get onto a character journal and let you all know who I have so far in terms of characters.
However, I also control the NPCs (all of which are adoptable). If you want to thread with an NPC, just let me know! I do not mind! The same thing with journal entries. If you want to private something to one of the NPCs, go ahead. I will definitely do my best to have them respond in a timely manner!
There have been a few rule changes since I started accepting holds, one of which is that you can now have 6 character, 4 to start off with. Well. Okay. I said a few, and there was only one really. Oh well.
Don't forget to throw up wanted characters on the wanted page! That's what it's for!

Late to the party, but still showing up!
I'm Hailey, college student, no life at all. So I'm around lots....well actually I lied. I'm not around when I'm in rehearsal, but that's not all the time. ANYWHOOO!
I have Ruby LeBeau (Gambit in canon obviously). She's currently a civilian, she's unaffiliated (unless you count her affiliation to herself?). She's currently living mostly with Scamp (Aiden Matthew) She just kind of barged in on him after they pulled a con together. She's pretty cool. I don't know what else to say to her other than she's got all the normal powers and she's a sexy beast? lol Oh yeah, she's currently taking a sort of break from her conning and whatnot and posing as a nurse.

Howdy! This is Gorram Wolf or GW for short, and I am glad to see the growing cast! I'll be bringing in your genderswapped versions of Scott Summers and Calvin Rankin.
First up, we have Sarah Summers, here in this journal, whose profile is at http://rubyeyes.insanejournal.com/369.html. She's serious and self-controlled around all but the closest of her friends, a teacher of new mutants at Xavier's, one of the field leaders of the X-Men, and a part-time pilot instructor as well. Her PB is Bianca Beauchamp, and I will warn you, there are Not Safe For Work icons in her iconset. As with her canon counterpart, she absorbs solar energy and emits force beams, but modern technology and the inventions of a fellow mutant have allowed her to go without glasses for the last few years.
Secondly, I am bringing in Cherry Rankin, whose profile is here at http://mimix.insanejournal.com/505.html. Her real first name is something else and she hates it, so she goes by Cherry. She is a businesswoman, a sometimes ally of the X-Men, and someone who sees herself as independent spirit and a party girl, even while she has a serious side hidden deep in her. Cherry's mutant ability is to mimic the powers, knowledge, and skills of those around her, either temporarily or permanently.
I am always up for plotting and playing, an available whenever I can be on AIM, and always reachable by email. Both are on the two character's profiles. Hope to see you all in the game as soon as things start up!
ETA: Oh! Also, I just started a new job working in the evenings, and so my schedule will likely be chaotic during the week.
