Diana sat with her knees up and her arms around her knees on the back porch chair. She gazed out to where she and Sabretooth, Mr Creed, had met. Where everything had all gone bad. It had been only a few days ago and she was just now managing to get the shock out of her system. She had been thinking about the attack, and more importantly about what Creed had asked her before things went bad. Lianna... it wasn't exactly a common name, now was it? Ok, so she didn't know the last name Skule, but was it all that unlikely that her mom might have changed it? She hugged her knees tightly, remembering things her mother had said. Lianna had been trying to run and hide, she had the gun beneath her bed just in case. Yes, she probably would have changed her name to help get away. In fact, she might have thought about it if Victor hadn't caught her first thing in the morning. Her brain hadn't quite woken up yet.
Lianna claimed Diana's father was not just a bastard, but a monster. A Monster. The same thing her mother had called her when her mutation showed up. Her stomach rolled. Victor Creed had been described as a dangerous man. Everything seemed to be connecting together despite what she may have wished otherwise. It wasn't a certainty though. After all even if it was the same Lianna that didn't have to mean he WAS her father, he might just KNOW her father. Didn't people like that tend to hang together? There was a way she could know for sure. She knew they had her blood, and with Creed in the infirmary they probably had his as well. There were tests for that sort of thing. She just wasn't sure if she was ready for the results of the tests. She also wasn't sure if she would feel worse if it was positive or negative. Especially now. People weren't even sure if he was ever going to wake up. She put her head down, removing her gaze from the spot where Wolverine and Sabretooth had fought. Whatever the truth was she still felt guilty for what had happened. It was all her fault.
