Samuel Guthrie wasn't one of those siblings, or sons, whom just disappeared from his families never to speak to them again, no, he was a wonderful son. Just ask his mother, Lucinda. He won't go into great detail how he just so happened to arrive here, but needless to say, he had requested to charles that he needed to take a much needed trip home. Rekindle old relationships, find out how his siblings are doing, get to meet them after a few months before his last visit with them. It really has been a while, hasn't it? Samuel walked along the side of the only paved road, carrying a duffle bag filled with his only needed neccessities for his visit. Walking alongside in a plaid shirt and a pair of torn jeans, he turned off into the dirt gravel road, which was long and windy till it reached the little house in the center of the square patch of land.
Feet slid against the gravel, slowly watching the windows as he made his way up the road, noticing the little piece of junk truck they've had since their father passed away. Hands slipping deep in his pockets, he couldn't watch the window anymore. The excitement was too much to bare, and it became to draw against him, heavily. He had no reason to feel like that, but he really didn't know how else to feel. He missed his mother, he knew it must have been hard for her. He knew she put her children first before herself, and he admired that in her. And in fact, thats one of the qualities he has grown to compare to, to various women and the like. He really didn't know how she would react to seeing him, but mutually the feeling was the same, he was sure of that.
Within a few minutes, he was about 50 feet from the front door, his head now drawn down with a smirk across his face. He could only imagine his siblings running out yelling his name, and tackling him down, smothering him with hugs and kisses.
He really hoped he could handle such an emotional event.
