Of course he didn't need Scott's help. He was HAVOK! The faintest of smiles touched Scott's lips when Alex muttered the ironic bit of sentiment. Bro. Go figure. Well, it wasn't lost on Cyclops. The bespectacled man grabbed a nearby work stool and eased up into the seat, letting his arms rest across his legs as he leaned forward. He sighed out the deep breath he'd taken and his eyes followed Alex's hands. Aside the fact the the boy was working in the garage when other places would've been better, he wasn't doing too bad. Scott's mouth twisted to the side and he raised his eyebrows with a dash of pleasantry, "Have uh, you and Lorna spoken recently?" With Alex's restlessness and Lorna's troubles concerning her father's presence, Scott couldn't help but thinking an interaction between the two might be good. But, it could also go horribly badly... The two seemed to be hot or cold, not much in between. It wasn't any of his business about the status of their relationship (off again for a while now), so he didn't even mention it.
OOC: If this isn't savvy, that's totally cool. I can edit. :D
