Shan could've cared less about Demon, pertaining to Thorn and his concerns. She'd given more than one thought to the man before, however, as she considered him an unfit menace. Perhaps Thorn had fallen on the opposite side of the tree as his twin. She didn't have to like him either, though. The brunette smiled knowingly as Sam's response. Experience usually came in handy when any skill or talent was the topic. She shrugged at his final words to her - there wasn't really any place to run off to at the mansion, at least not unless you really had to pee.
"I have not seen him, either. He is lucky." Her eyes narrowed slightly, and her voice had been kept to a minimum audible level. When Thorn decided to stay, she sighed a bit. Whether she had planned to linger or not, she would now. The Vietnamese woman looked up into Sam's face and she shook her head slowly, disapprovingly, "I would prefer him there." Or the children with her in the library. Attempting to look a bit more upbeat, she added, "Besides, the quiet," she waved her hand gesturing into the not-so-silent air around them, "it can be maddening, sometimes." The library was her ideal location 6 days out of the week. But sometimes, a girl just needed a little racket.
