Sam chuckled under your breath before moving after Shan, arms still crossed with a smirk on his face. "Looks like they're havin' fun, huh?" He was standing shoulder-to-shoulder with the woman ... more like shoulder-to-top-of-her-head. Ah ha, the Incredibles! Another of his favorite movies. Sam had a gigantic repertoire of cartoon knowledge it seemed, maybe from taking care of his whole family for so many years. The children needed something to entertain themselves all the time. "These kids'ave great taste, if Ah do say so mahself." Uncrossing his arms, he curled his left hand and brought it to his mouth before breathing onto it softly. Sam "shined" his knuckle on his shirt and then Galen begun to excuse himself.
"Well, yer gonna miss it Ah'm afraid." Sam didn't bother turning around to Galen, saying it loud enough for him to hear. "But ya gotta do whatcha gotta do." The sarcastic tone was uncharacteristic of Sam, but then again ... Demon could definitely wait. The guy was demonic enough as it is and Sam trusted him even less than Galen. In any case, the plantman had earned an ounce of trust from Cannonball today and the kids liked him well enough to tolerate his presence. Which was good, Sam thought. As long as he didn't do anything suspicious.
Apparently, Shan was enjoying her time outside of the labyrinth library. He turned his head faintly in her direction and blinked-- one of the kids coughed loudly. Bringing Sam's attention back to The Incredibles and to his hunger. His stomach grumbled, damn it he was hungry. "Cover yer mouth next time, will'ya?" He grinned towards the perpetrator sitting at the far end of the couch. The child nodded rapidly, wiping his nose with his forearm.
