In other words, they were at least able to save one another once their vague master plan had fallen apart, which seemed to have happened pretty quickly. Sun liked to think that there was always something that had been done right, even if the general outcome had been less than ideal.
And while he didn't really want for Scott to stay injured, or for future missions to go awry, the idea of more training was greeted with a certain amount of reluctance (more training having about as much appeal as going back to school after summer vacation for many students).
