It was a good thing they had a big refrigerator in the house. It was also a good thing Remy only got cases of six. Two of them would probably have to go outside in the cold if they didn't fit.
"Yeah, I got enough for everybody, if they're interested." Crouching down, Remy shoved the cases of beer into the lower level of the refrigerator. "Big day tomorrow. Gotta start early." The beer store had been pretty well cleaned out after the Super Bowl this weekend. But Remy knew just where to go to get the good stuff. And it wasn't like it cost him anything either.
Remy had a tendency to talk even if no one was listening. Especially this time of the year. The rest of the year, he could just sit back and relax.
Standing, Remy weaved around Kevin to grab a bag of barbecue chips from the pantry. He took the clothespin off the bag, and proceeded to snack.
"You got mail?" Remy asked, nodding to the envelope.
