Jubilee never visited the mansion without good reason. Special occasions like recruiting people for a movie marathon were few and far in between. With Jean and Scott's wedding coming up, though, she was going a little stir-crazy waiting for the hen's night. Oh. The ceremony too. The ceremony was probably going to be pretty.
She was fixing herself some chai in the kitchen, and grabbing some more snacks from the cupboards (she'd pitch in come grocery time, honest). The stairs were easily reached from there, but why not use what she was given?
And to her credit, nothing fell out of her grasp or spilled when she landed crookedly beside the table. Now settled in and comfortable, Jubilee eyed Shiro as he came in, sipping her tea leisurely.
Taking an offered Pringle, and starting to scribble on her own pile of scrap paper, she said conversationally, "you know, it's still cheating if I don't understand what it says." That particular set of katakana she now knew, if only because she'd seen it so many times before.
