Who: Recon, Professor X (tag Jean-Paul? Open?) When: March 11, 2008 (Early Morning) Where: Lab - Medical Wing What: Reflection Rating: PG Status: In Progress
Demon remained supine on one of the stretchers. The monitor's pulse tone beeped in the background. Probes were attached to his chest and a white sheet covered him from the neck down. The professor stood above him with his eyes closed and his hands at the sides of the unconscious man's head. Demon was heavily sedated, but Charles was speaking to him telepathically. What he was saying would be engraved in his mind and would remain etched during the remainder of his time here.
~Your behavior here is not acceptable. Using powers against your colleagues is not only frowned upon, but strictly prohibited and will not be condoned in any manner. You are to remain respectful of those around you during your time here. If you cannot control yourself, we will have no choice but to remove you from the property.~
His statement was harsh, but he wasn't going to take the situation lightly. This message went beyond the conscious mind, it would be something Demon would remember word for word. Charles broke his mental connection with him, then looked over to Josiah who was also in the room.
"I will talk to Erik about this as well. We can't expect to make progress if we're consistently catering to The Brother's disobedience," he said to Joe with a look of reassurance.
"Thank you Professor."
Charles brushed off the thanks and apologized for not tending to the matter sooner. Joe walked him out and agreed to frequent updates on Demon's behavior. He was ordered to keep the walking hormone sedated until everything calmed down. Those involved in the gym incident needed time to gather themselves without the instigator roaming the mansion. With reluctance, Joe walked over to Demon and placed his hand on his head. The laceration closed and the swelling went down. The discoloration dissipated and the concussion was now non-existent.
Josiah only heard about what happened, he didn't know the details. But the thought of Jean-Paul and this over-sexed hooligan being intimate made his stomach turn. It was anger, jealousy, and resentment all in one. He was furious with Demon and extremely disappointed in Northstar, even if it wasn't completely justified. He was upset because all this time he's been trying to build something with the Canadian, but then he drops his guard for a dirty encounter. He probably showed more affection to Demon in those few minutes than he ever has with him. It was hard enough being one of the few gay men at the mansion, but then to think you've been led on by the only guy you're interested in shattered Joe's confidence. The doctor was teary eyed while he drew up more medication to administer. A dark cloud seemed to hover over the medical wing.
