Co-post: Jubilee and Oni, pt. 2
"Oh, yea. There it is," Oni grimaced, though she could've been referring to her firearm or to the lightning bolt railroad spikes lancing through her skull. "Can we get to it?" The place seemed locked up pretty tight, especially the veritable gold mine of weaponry stashed inside a caged cabinet. Oni couldn't care less about the other guns, except so far as she halfway considered bringing up some for the others - They might need it, too. The way she saw it, however, they'd probably be in enough trouble as it was without raiding the pantry. She cracked a wry grin, last thing she wanted was to get the x-bunch's collective panties in a bunch. To prove as much, she turned her back so that she couldn't see Jubilee unlock the stash. "Ready when you are."
Jubilee had a feeling she'd be getting in trouble for getting Oni's weapon out, but honestly, she didn't care. Having been successful in their mission, Jubilee looked to Oni. 'You ready to get out there?" They'd made it back to the main floor, where they'd started. The sounds of battle could be heard and Jubilee was itching to get outside and help out.
Oni looked a little winded, but no worse for wear. She shook the hair out of her eyes and smiled, "Much obliged." Zap, Poison, and Shadowcat weren't very far beyond, Jubilee could catch up to them if she wanted to. If Oni wanted to actually use the rifle in her hands, and not end up sucking as hard as everyone thought she would, she couldn't be behind the others, in the line of hand-to-hand fighters. She took a second to survey the lovely apocalypse unfolding. "My train's over there," she yelled over the commotion, gesturing towards more out of the way guard towers. From there, she could pick and choose her marks, well out of the way of her fellow 'fireballs and fairydust' mutants. It would only take her a second to get there, and then she'd have to cool it with the time-bending for awhile - She was already starting to feel the strain. "What about you?"
Jubilee smiled, shrugging lightly. "Anytime," she winked, wondering just how badly she was going to get it for that little stunt. Jubilee noticed that the others weren't too far ahead of her and decided she should probably make her way over to them. Strength in numbers and all that jazz. Jubilee nodded, grimacing slightly. "I'm going to catch up with them," she replied, gesturing to the others ahead of her. "I guess good luck is in order?" She winked, knowing they'd get through this and come out on top.
