She wasn't the professor, but Mystique answered none-the-less. "Storm, they need long range support tower six." Then she stood poised and waiting for infected to make it to them.
It was both a long wait and too short of one. Finally, just as she had known they would a few darkseekers made it through the lines. She stepped forward and attacked the ones near her, seeing the others taking on some more down the line. By using her shifting and natural flexibility she was more than capable to take down the creatures that made their way to her.
Demon was pretty much relegated to his hand to hand techniques he knew with a small minor addition. When it looked like he needed to use it, he would simply jolt the darkseeker with an extreme shot of adrenaline, causing most of them to have heart attacks as their systems sped up too much. There was one time that he was close to being taken down and he jolted three or so at once. He swayed but quickly forced himself to regain his focus. He had never hit that many at once before. It usually was just a one person at a time thing. The power helped but it drained him, so he tried to keep from using unless he really needed to.
Poison was doing fine. The uniform combined with her scales kept her from being hurt too much as she fought. Her poisoned claws had the Darkseekers falling to her feet in death spasms. That combined with her martial training helped her stand her own in the defense of the school. She was almost taken down by one that had managed to grab her, but she forced herself to bit down on the creatures arm. It howled as her poison went into it's system and it too was twitching on the floor. She spat out the foul taste in her mouth and hoped she wouldn't have to do that again as she continued to dispatch of the infected that headed her way.
