Blood and screaming. Zap didn't dare close her eyes. She didn't dare. She shifted them, however, and located where Piotr and Logan were covered in Darkseekers and she crinkled her face in sheer frustration that she couldn't pull them back out by hand. They would be done when they were finished - she had no say. Her mutation-related thoughts were still focused on Magneto's blade, but she could hardly watch.
"More, now." The blade was spinning furiously, but just above the heads of the central group.
"But-"
"Now."
Zap raised her gloved hands and leaned against the railing of the tower to even see the thing properly, and from the aim of her arm, a well-focused arc of energy shot outward and hit the disk, making it wobble slightly. It still spun, however.
Erik raised the glowing disk once more, and set it to spin faster yet than before, and once it lowered, the creatures around it froze and cringed and screamed. He flattened the thing - in an instant.
It was thinner now than Zap could've imagined, and when it spread in that instant, it sliced through fifty of them - those who had been paralyzed by her jolt.
As Magneto retracted the thing, he watched as the tops of mangled bodies slid from the metal as it drew back in on itself. Full torsos and other bits and parts were thudding to the earth in bloody piles. He nodded, mostly to himself. Well, he thought, there was a tenth of them taken care of. Unless another group massed together that closely - and away from a body he had regard for, then that little trick wouldn't be useful again. The blade set out once more and he gestured something that might've been 'thank you' with his hand.
It was hard to tell with the grandiose demeanor.
This one didn't ask questions, Erik thought. He smirked as he focused in on his task, but locked the knowledge to memory. Had she any a stronger stomach, he might've proposed an arrangement there on the field of battle. She had potential.
