Zap had been on Jubilee's tail as they shot back up to the main level. She was fairly surprised at the rate of speed their fellows were moving. Everyone was on the freakin' ball. She surveyed the public area that was in sight of the elevators, noting that the crowd was thinning - or at least the younger crowd. There were fewer confused and terrified bodies clogging up the works than before, at any rate.
Silver and Joe were shouting orders and responses to each other and she felt a swell of pride, noting that the younger girl hadn't done as she was told, but was getting her hands dirty.
When her attention came back to Jubilee, she noticed that Kitty had caught up with them, and that Jubes was speaking with the refugee she and Colossus had picked up a few weeks previous. They needed to get outside - she'd seen the Professor duck out moments before into the pandemonium. "You're lookin' at 'em," she told Oni as she approached, gesturing to herself, then Jubilee and Kitty. She raised her eyebrows to Shadowcat who was behind the other two women in a gesture that read 'you ready for this crap?'. Personally, Zap wasn't a big fan of cannibals, so the evening that loomed ahead didn't seem too appealing. But they had a duty. "I don't know what kind of training you've done here," she began, "but I know you can hold your own." There wasn't a rule against people who weren't 'X-Men' fighting for their lives. But the rest of them had trained together - including the Brotherhood. She glanced to Jubilee, as if swapping opinions on giving the woman a human weapon in a hurricane of mutant-powered fire. Zap didn't care if she fought, but she knew they didn't have a lot of time to help her get armed. "Kitty?" The other brunette knew the security areas like the back of her own hand - she knew where they kept all the standard arms. Oni's gun and several others were probably down there. Kitty would be the fastest, right?
