Once Leech had gone on, Leyu looked after the boy for a few moments longer. He was really nice, but it seemed he was hopeless in social situations. He had been locked up in labs since he was little, and his powers didn't exactly help matters.
Leyu remembered the first time she got a dose of what he could do. She recalled feeling completely powerless; it was not a pleasant feeling. But she did her best to shake it off this time, though she stilled looked a bit perturbed.
"Diplomacy is always the desired method for negotiating peaceful co-existence." Unfortunately, too many people thought violence was the only way peace could be achieved. Humans and mutants weren't so different from each other really; both sides seemed to think violence was the only means to an end.
Look at the Brotherhood and look at the majority of 'humanity'; they wanted to wipe each other off the face of the earth.
"I don't think it will be possible for homo sapiens and homo superiors to co-exist peaceably," she stated rather brusquely. At least not in their life time, or even that of their future children's.
"Not indefinitely, anyway."
Leyu wasn't trying to be a downer; she was just trying to give her honest opinion.
