Even if Pietro wouldn't admit to it, he was grieving; mourning the loss of their biological father.
Two years ago, if someone said they'd be falling apart over a man who had hardly been involved of their lives, she would've thought them a fool. Magneto wasn't the easiest man to get along with. He wasn't warm or very personable - he could pretend to be, but underneath it all, he wasn't. He was cruel and calculating, and an elitist. He had more or less viewed his children as trophies to parade around whenever it suited his purposes. Despite everything he had done, Wanda had hoped they could've cultivated a better relationship with him.
All Wanda wanted was to have a family; a real family that was tight-knit and loving towards each other. But that seemed nothing more than a pipe dream to her now.
"Pietro," she said, turning slightly to look at him. She didn't want him to feel bad for her, but she did want him to see how much his reckless behavior effecting her. "Please tell me you will stop this." Or at least try to make a valiant effort to do so.
Wanda reached for one of his hands and grasped it gently, pulling it onto her lap. She loved her brother so much and she just hated seeing him so miserable. It was like her heart was being ripped from her chest.
The tears had stopped flowing, but she sniffled slightly. "I love you; you know that, right?" She had felt the distance between them growing, but her feelings would never change.
