Following the events post-mission disaster was hard enough, but sometime throughout the chaos, Victor had disappeared. Myra had caught wind of the epic battle that had gone on out on Xavier's lawn during Victor's departure... and she couldn't help wondering what had been wedged between the two men. Victor obviously remembered. She'd re-read the note Sabretooth had left her several dozen times.
Myra, Got a lead on something better. Either way, I'll be back for you. -Victor
No answers. Something better? She knew the feral man was restless, but what exactly was he keeping from her? In her own room, she paced furiously as she tore through her options over and over again. Stay with her star-fucker cousin and Erik, the phantom of Xavier's? Wait for Sabretooth's return and allow the deadly man to whisk her away? Or...? Was there really a third option? Pyro and Rogue hadn't exactly been opened back with wide, open arms into the X-embrace. But, they were traitors, twice over. It occurred to her that if she left Magneto and all of the brood and their aggressive politics behind that maybe she would be received in a fair (if not weary) manner. But first; answers. Two days previous, just after Victor's leave, Myra had gone to Emma Frost's office and ten minutes into their 'session', Sway realized the man she thought she loved was a sick, perverse monster with numerous hidden agendas. Thankful for Emma's lack of control where other people's minds and privates thoughts were concerned, she returned to her pacing. While Diamond wasn't the most trustworthy woman, Myra didn't think she had any reason to lie to her about Sabretooth's past. Now, she was back at square one, the cat-man's note crumpled in her fist. Part of her knew she owed it to Jonah to tell him what she planned to do. She also thought her disgruntled feelings toward him were a bit unfair, and she didn't want to argue with him and end up never seeing him again...
The manipulator finally exited the Brotherhood dorms and entered Xavier's school with high hopes (optimism! oh my!). "Storm?" Er, Ororo? Meh. The newly-diseased woman probably didn't have a preference. Despite a handful of the X-Men having been infected by a mysterious new stage of the Cure Virus, very little had changed for the Brotherhood. So on top of hoping to change her fate, Myra also wished to have her first encounter with one of the diseased and come out alive on the other side.
