Her own footsteps were making too much noise, and Jeanne-Marie tried to quiet the noise, taking slower steps. So much rubble had built up in their attempts to knock the other down that she was kicking rocks left and right. Her legs circled his waist and she twisted hard, using his bulk to send him rolling off of her. She reversed the position, struggling to keep her grasp on him, as he was stronger than she.
