Jeanne-Marie connected her shoulder to his chest, and the sudden stop in movement sent her ricocheting off to the side. She caught herself, her feet once again digging into the simulated grass, flinging her hands out in front of her and leaving her in a crouch. She only had a moment to collect her thoughts before she was blown off her feet again, the shockwave sent at her by Havok catching her mid-frame and lifting her from the ground.
When her back connected with the floor again, Jeanne-Marie grumbled to herself, getting to her feet as quickly as she could. "Show-off," she snarked, scanning for where Havok stood. The utter destruction in the room was making visuals difficult. She took in a deep breath, trying to slow her heart rate. She'd be able to concentrate better. Her knees bent, and Aurora jumped, soaring up as high as her vision, and the simulation would allow. She needed a moment to think, figure out strategy. Jeanne-Marie wasn't good at this. Aurora was always the one in control in situations like these, and Jeanne was almost willing to let her take over.
Almost.
Flexing her hands at her sides, Aurora took off, circling the room quickly. She spotted Havok, and figured he'd spotted her. She stopped her circle, hovering vertically in the air. Her entire body began to glow, growing brighter and brighter until it was nearly blinding. She charged the light as brightly as she could manage, then changed the direction of the energy, sending the blast toward Havok.
