The remnants of the shockwave dissipated and dust flew up around the radius in which the ruins were blasted into oblivion. He huffed through his nostrils, squinting his eyes to try and see if he could hear anything. This was going to be inherently difficult if he had to use shockwaves in order to even touch the speedster. Alex narrowed his eyes, hearing something akin to a faint wind. Needless to say, he couldn't even see Aurora coming towards him.
Shit. Havok shot backwards like a bullet, barreling into another wall. So many walls ... Havok made a mental note to forgo so many fortifications. "A field might be better next time." He winced as he made to get up, even more dust clouded his vision now. Alex placed his arms forward, the resonating blue energy in his hands flowing with his movements. He stretched them back and like a spring, brought them together in a clapping motion. The two energies in his hands met, reacting like a bright star and quickly phasing out. But the secondary effect was massive. Air molecules were violently displaced ahead in a fan-like radius, a directional shockwave followed by a cutting motion along the ancient floor. The floor was uprooted, giant cracks spreading in all directions and sending pillars flying backwards. Destruction at its finest.
