Jeanne-Marie let her body draw up energy again, feeling her body start to loosen. Aurora was always better at controlling the abilities in the body she and Jeanne-Marie shared. She had more practice at it. But again, it was all part of the recovery process. Taking in a few deep breaths and working on figuring out what her own next move, and Alex's, would be, she crouched, letting her fingertips press into the grass. She was ready to spring forward again at a run when she heard something... It sounded like something large was forcing things out of it's way, and it was coming for her. Quickly.
"Merde," she cursed, and her sprint forward turning into an upward leap, Jeanne-Marie creating downward force and lifting into the air. She'd assumed that the blast sent out by Havok was coming at her, not through the entire room. Well, you know what they say about assuming... The omnidirectional blast struck her, hard, and sent her sailing through the air without direction and without the concentration to keep herself aloft.
The blast hit her again before she landed, toppling her like a rag doll through the air. Finally hitting the ground, Jeanne-Marie rolled onto her back, drawing in the breath that had been knocked from her lungs. This? This was going to be a challenge. Taking a moment to recover, Jeanne got to her feet, concentrating on building another charge through her body. She took off like a shot, heading directly at Havok, her shoulder lowered to connect with his chest. Here was hoping he didn't move quickly enough and leave her with that ruin as her only target. That would hurt.
