Wren might've been calm, cool and collected outwardly, but on the inside? Things were quite different. All she wanted to do was drop whatever she was carrying and run for the nearest exit, but that probably wouldn't bode well with the other girls... nor with herself, because she'd feel guilt-ridden once she was out of mortal danger.
Yep, it would seem that she had been cursed blessed with a conscience.
Once her fellow teammates (sans Kitty) gave her the a-okay, Wren relaid a plan that they could use 'just in case' they got cornered. And from the looks (and sounds) of things, the natives were clearly starting to get restless. Wren heard things being knocked over and the sound of feet shuffling against the tiled floor---Oh god, were they running?
"Look," she said as she jogged alongside Edana now, "when we regroup, there's a good chance we're going to be surrounded." Wren was trying to speak as quickly as she could, without sounding completely incomprehensible. It was hard to enunciate when you were running for your life.
"We need to combine our abilities to get out of here -- think that's possible?" This seemed to be the only way for them to get out of there with their cargo in tow. She knew very well that their lives were far more important than a few cans of peas and a couple sticks of toothpaste. Even so, she didn't want this to be a wasted trip either.
As they rounded another corner, the counters at the front of the store (as well as their teammates) came into view. Wren almost felt relieved at the sight, but this little adventure was quite over yet. They could all breathe sighs of relief once they were all in the Hummer, heading back to the mansion.
[ OOC: Sorry if that's a little vague, but I'm tired and I don't know when/if I'm going to be able to post over the weekend. If you need the details of the plan, ask Jordan, Beck, or myself (via e-mail) and one of us will get back to you. ]
