"Should I get the bags at the counter?" Minka asked into the headset, though her eyes were locked on Kitty. They'd been stock-piling most of them there. She didn't want to have worked so hard and have to abandoned the fruits of their labors. But her life, and the lives of her companions were much more important than some sticks of deodorant. "I'll stay put," she said, deciding her question had been stupid. Eddie had just said they were headed toward she and Kitty. That meant regrouping. Minka's feet were itching to leave the tiled floor of the superstore, but she knew they had to follow procedure. She twitched a little bit, using the huge duffle bag as a sort of buffer for her unease. "I wish they were here now." She began to hear far-off sounds of 'people' approaching and her fingers grasped more tightly around the handle on her bag. "We should've gone first..." She and Kitty could've been getting the bags into the vehicle by now... Ah! She hated waiting.
