Wren hadn't meant to step on anyone's toes, but she just thought everyone was allowed to offer their own thoughts. Of course, she had an excuse for thinking this way: She had little to no experience working within groups like the X-Men. It wasn't like it was anything analogous of being part of a school club, or something of that sort. No, it was quite different and Wren was going to use this as a learning experience for the next time - if there was to be a next time, that is.
Wren fell silent again and went back to listening instead. Since they obviously didn't need any advice from the newbie, she'd just have to along with any of the plans they had in store for them. They were the ones with experience and she was just along for the ride, apparently.
Okay, so maybe she was feeling a little resentful that they weren't taking her opinion into account. Wren might not have had the experience of being part of the team like they had, but she had to live in an environment like this by herself. When she had been trapped in that mall, she didn't have the luxury of having teammates or fancy weaponry, or training. All she had was her own wits about her and her undeveloped, mutant abilities; and she had survived.
Wren didn't think this made her better than them, nor did she expect to treated any differently than any other new (or honorary) member of the team, because of that. She just hoped they realized she wasn't a total waste of space and that she would make a capable member of the X-Men when and if she decided officially join.
After Kitty had given them their 'orders,' Wren nodded her understanding and then she turned her gaze back onto Levity.
