Her fears had lessened slightly when Minka and Edana had confirmed that--as of that moment--no infected humans were near them. This news enabled Wren to breathe a little more freely, or as much as she could by only using her mouth; the stench of the decaying food around them was enough to turn the strongest of stomachs. Luckily for her, she opted against eating breakfast before leaving the mansion, or she'd probably be heaving somewhere right now.
While the other girls discussed their plans amongst themselves, Wren stood and listened without saying anything; she wanted to hear which course of action would be best. Splitting up sounded a little risky, but it would surely be the quickest. However, the quickest way wasn't always the safest. Sticking together seemed to be their best bet of getting out of there with the minimal amount of damage - if any Darkseekers showed up later to make a snack out of them, that is.
It wasn't her decision to decide, however.
Wren chimed in after Kitty had spoken her piece, "I think we ought to stick together, just in case anything should happen." Shadowcat's plan seemed reasonable enough, but she couldn't help but be put off about the idea of 'splitting up'; it seemed like an invitation for trouble. "Perhaps we should put it to a vote?" Flux suggested shortly thereafter, looking each of them in the eye in turn.
These girls had a lot more experience in the field than she did, after all. She just hoped she wasn't overstepping her bounds here.
