Kitty couldn't help but laugh. It always seemed like John knew her pretty well, but she thought he just knew people in general. "Yeah, I was," she admitted with a smile, pushing the door open. Pulling herself off the door jam, she lead the way into her room and sat sideways in her chair, resting an arm against the back, rationalizing, "Better to be busy than not."
She watched him for a moment before resting her chin against her arm. While none of her actions were as dramatic as Pyro's, she knew what it was like to try to avoid people when you were stuck living with them, training with them, eating with them. Shoving a bunch of hormonal kids into one mansion probably wasn't the best idea - let alone shoving their "enemies" in with them. "I can imagine. I can't wait until the mansion empties out again."
