John had had his face angled down, awaiting her arrival or answer, and when the door came open, he raised it to look at the girl. His eyebrow quirked involuntarily and he felt a smile tug at his lips. She always seemed so distracted. Of course, that could be said for many of the X-Men, he supposed. He shifted his weight and asked, "Would it be cool if I came in for a few?" he motioned with his left hand to the room beyond.
"I have guard duty later and I wanted to make the most of my free time," he shared. "Freakin' sucks out there." The Brotherhood were frequenting most of the public areas at the mansion - something he himself had done when amongst their ranks. It wasn't as though John was afraid of them, per se, but he didn't feel like he had it in him to argue anymore. He didn't want to fight - it was the whole reason for switching sides in the first place. He smiled and crossed his arms, knowingly, "You were busy."
