“I can skate and I’m good on my feet, but I’m not the best dancer I have to confess.”
He waited for a disappointing look from his untouchable date.
“I tell ya what, we’ll go out there during the next slow song, I can’t stumble too much if we do that,” he suggested.
It was his attempt at making up for not being so eager to run out on the dance floor. He got the impression that Rogue wasn’t too eager herself, there wasn’t much to be expected of the timid southern belle, but he could be wrong.
Everyone finally seemed to find their spots in the tent and many of the dancers were now getting a breather. He noticed Kitty and John having quite the chuckle out on the floor, which reminded him of an idea he had. It would certainly spark some awkwardness, but he felt it was the right thing to do. When the couple were finished dancing, Bobby planned to approach them and ask if they would like to sit next to him and Rogue. There were things the Iceman wanted to say to his famous rival, that perhaps might change that very stigma. It wasn’t the right time just yet, but Bobby wanted to at least show the gesture.
