Enough time had passed that the gossip about 'the big brawl' had all but fizzled away. This was an opportunity for Bobby to start fresh. A new start with the one he loved in a world with a new start at life. Bobby had even contemplated talking to John and at least explore the possibility of being civil towards one another. If John was once again an X-Man, he needed to be relied upon. Bobby had a lot of time to think about what happened and he realized there was a lot more to Pyro than what met the eye. Seeing him and Kitty together didn't effect Bobby at all, in fact he was happy that they both had a date. Long talks with Kitty left them both comfortable with their 'separation' or what have you. Feeling that he was on good terms with almost everyone, he hoped to project a more mature and grateful attitude at the party.
Rogue wore an elegant dress that made her look as though she were floating down the path. Before entering the tent, they posed for pictures and greeted the other attendees. Once inside, Bobby peered around and noticed the Professor handing out drinks at the beverage table. He smiled to himself then led his date to one of the tables to stake claim. He took his jacket off and hung it on the back of one of the chairs. He turned to Rogue and put his hands on her hips.
"You're the prettiest one here," he commented before kissing her cheek.
