Diana had considered taking a lot of different people, for all of a few seconds. With Troy taken, she found she really didn't want to go with any of the guys from the mansion. She didn't know any of the guys in the brotherhood, even if they weren't mega-older and scary. So, she decided that she didn't give a damn what anyone said and asked Tabitha to come to the dance with her. She liked the blond bombshell. Plus she knew she would have a good time hanging with her. So really that was all that mattered, right.
She was a bit self-conscious about how she looked. Usually she ran around in jeans and a shirt. But when she had seen this dress, she just had to get it. It looked good with both her 'normal' hair coloring and the silver it turned to after dark. Sunset was at 8, so that mattered as she would be sporting both colors that evening. She had put two braids on each side of her head, making a kind of crown, then let her curly hair fall behind her in a cascade. Diana had even broken out some light make-up, something she didn't usually wear at all. Long blue gloves to match her dress finished the outfit for when her claws decided to show up.
Looking in the mirror, she wanted to say she looked unusually good. She remembered who else would be at the party and felt a bit depressed that they would still probably outshine her. Well, she cheered herself up, who cares. She wasn't going with some boy who might compare her to the others, or try something that would require her to hurt them. She was going with Tabitha, and they were going to have fun. It was already a given. Tabitha wouldn't allow for anything else. So, it was with a rare true smile that Diana headed out to meet her 'date' for the dance.
