Jokes aside, Brian didn't think he and Betsy looked half bad in their matchy-matchy outfits of choice. He was also surprised at the lack of ... well, surprise at their arrival outside the pavilion together. Not only had there been talk of them coming as a pair, but he supposed no one was going to get their feathers ruffled over a lighthearted joke, either. He didn't believe they were a joke, however, and had treated the event as such from the start (following his invitation to Betsy). And the girl on his arm had certainly exercised a bit of sincerity while preparing, as she looked absolutely stunning. Her hair and gown and shoes - everything seemed to sparkle. In his opinion, she looked best in purple. "D'you think we should we should join in and loosen up a bit?" he asked her quietly before pulling her to the right side of the entrance. Everyone on the floor looked really happy to be there.
